Diseases That Hampers Sex Life

Sex is the vital component of the human life. It is because of the sex the human race is multiplying. Sex is the basic means of human reproduction. But, remember that sex is not only the means of copulation; sex is also a way to live a healthy and happy life. Various diseases have now been erupted due to the unhealthy lifestyle, stress, tensions, etc that hampers sex life considerably. Mentioned below is the list of the diseases that hampers the sex life.

1. Erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is the inability in the men to achieve the erection or sustain the erection for the long time during the sexual intercourse. Erectile dysfunction is mainly is caused by the inadequate blood supply to the penis during the sexual activity. Many other factors like diabetes, blood pressure, and heart disorders directly or indirectly contribute towards the erection problems in men. More than 70% of the men worldwide suffer with the erection problems. Erection problems sometimes even occur because of the old age. Even the physical injury to the penis may result in the erectile dysfunction.

2. Sexual dysfunction

Sexual dysfunction in women is the main problem in the men that makes the women unable to enjoy the sexual ecstasy. Women basically face 4 types of the sexual dysfunction problems that are desire disorders, orgasm failure, sexual pain, and difficulty in arousal. Sexual dysfunction is observed in women due to the relationship problems, depression, or sexual fear. Even the excessive intake of the hormonal pills can also cause the sexual dysfunction. Sexual dysfunction is basically caused by the lack of the blood supply to the sexual organs. Many of the women face difficulty in reaching the orgasm because of the enough of the arousal or foreplay before the sex. Majority of the times sexual dysfunction in women is psychological rather than physical.

3. Premature ejaculation

Premature ejaculation in the problem faced by the men when they ejaculate the seminal fluid very quickly i.e. even before their partner is aroused for the sex. Premature ejaculation is caused by the lack of control on the ejaculatory system. Many times premature ejaculation is found to be mainly caused by the anxiety and nervousness. Even the pressure to perform well during the sex also sometimes leads to the premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is also termed as rapid ejaculation or early climax. The mechanism of ejaculation is guided by the penile nerves. So, any injury to these nerves may also lead to premature ejaculation.

4. Sexually Transmitted Disease

Sexually transmitted disease (STD) is the form of the disease that is caused by the infections caused by the micro-organisms and spread by the sexual contact. Bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites are the main cause of the sexually transmitted disease. The unprotected sex with the multiple partners or an unknown partner is the main reason why the STDs are found to be spreading so rapidly. Even kissing the sexual organs of the infected partner can lead to the sexually transmitted disease. STDs are most commonly spread infectious disease among teens because they are generally unaware of the methods of protection. The best way to avoid the sexually transmitted disease is to use the condom during the sexual intercourse. Even talking to your siblings about the sexually transmitted diseases would also act as a preventive measure against STDs.

5. Peyronie’s Disease

Peyronie’s disease is the condition that results into the bending of the penis when in the erect condition. This bending of penis is painful, which disallows the men to enjoy the sex. Peyronies’s is caused due to formation of hardened tissue (fibrosis) in the penis that causes pain, curvature, and distortion, usually during erection. Peyronie’s disease develops following trauma such as hitting or bending that causes localized bleeding inside the penis. This leads to injury of the elastic lining of chambers inside the penis. Aging increases the risk of Peyronie’s disease in the men. The formation of the lump or plaque in the tunica albuginea part of the penis makes the penis to bend unnaturally and causes the Peyronie’s disease.
